Fees & Good Faith Estimate

Clear costs, no surprises.

What sessions cost, what payment options are available, and the federal disclosure I'm required to give you about your right to a written cost estimate before treatment begins.

Session Fees

What therapy costs.

Standard Rate
$120 / 50-min session

This is the standard fee for individual therapy sessions, billed per session at the time of your appointment.

Sliding Scale
Available for financial need

If cost is a barrier, a reduced-fee sliding scale may be available. This is discussed individually — reach out and we'll talk through what's workable for your situation.

Insurance & Payment

How payment works.

I'm an out-of-network provider, which gives us flexibility in how we work together — without insurance dictating session length, frequency, or what we focus on in the room.

Out-of-network — with a superbill available

I don't bill insurance directly, but I'm happy to provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Whether and how much is reimbursed depends entirely on your specific plan — I'd recommend calling your insurer to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before our first session.

HSA & FSA accepted

Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards are accepted for session payment.

Late cancellation & no-show policy

Life happens, and I ask for the same courtesy I extend to you: if you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment time. Cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled session, as well as missed appointments, are billed at the full session fee ($120).

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under federal law (the No Surprises Act), health care providers must give patients who don't have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of expected charges for services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your therapy is expected to cost, including the per-session rate and the projected frequency and length of treatment. This estimate will be provided to you in writing through our scheduling system before your first session, and you can also request one at any time, even before scheduling, by reaching out directly.

This estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to receive services from me. If you are billed an amount that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. You can find information about the dispute process, and a copy of your rights under this law, at cms.gov/nosurprises or by calling 1–800–985–3059.

For questions about your specific estimate or this policy, you're always welcome to reach out before booking.
